Clinical Supervision
Sometimes, it can feel really overwhelming and isolating when you're working as a therapist or when you're navigating your own private practice. My wish is to be able to support other therapists in their journey, as well as the wellbeing of their clients, and to help create a self-sustainable practice.
I have over six years of experience working as a counsellor and a psychotherapist in both the non-profit sector and private practice settings. I meet all the requirements for clinical supervision with the CRPO and I have completed a 36hr course titled The Empowered Supervisor.
I am especially interested in supporting newer BIPOC and/or queer, non-binary, and trans therapists who are thinking about starting their own private practice.
I work from an intersectional, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed framework that prioritizes non-pathologizing approaches. I acknowledge the inherent power dynamics involved in clinical supervision and I try to redistribute power by prioritizing collaboration, a sense of safety, transparency, trust, choice, and empowerment within the working relationship.
I would love to co-create a warm and safer environment where supervisees feel heard, understood, and encouraged to take on an active role in their learning and to engage in honest and open discussions with me. I love being curious and I'm committed to providing guidance and feedback without bulldozing or taking on the role of the expert.
If this aligns with what you're looking for from a psychotherapy supervisor, please don't hesitate to reach out to schedule a free 30min consultation to see if we are a good fit!
